Pinus Sinfónicos – Espaço Monsanto Lisboa 2009

PinusSinf

Pinus Sinfonicos is a multimedia installation, commissioned by Camara Municipal de Lisboa. The purpose was to call attention to the disappearing pinetree forest in Portugal. We wanted to make a project that would reverse the direction of the attention that children have inside a forest – so we brought the forest inside a room. By placing around 50 pinetrees with sensors that would deploy sinfonic sounds while the children would walk trought the pines, we believed that their senses would be enhaced. This came to happen strangely in a manifestation right outside the installation. The children spoke many times of the new sound they would hear in the forest outside the installation room.

Picasso Vs Einstein – Teatro da Trindade – 2007

A project commissioned by Teatro da Trindade in 2007, to decorate the facades of the building while the play “PICASSO VS EINSTEIN” was on stage. It was a big project, we had to make everything since the prints to the Einstein dolls that rode the bicycles in the facades. Still I wish I had better photos.

RGB – Installation for Centro Cultural do Cartaxo

A project commissioned by Centro Cultural do Cartaxo. An interactive light wall fading at speed of a heartbeat. The main goal was to produce a light source that would pulse inside the building giving it something of a heart.
